Branding created for the arts organisation A Foundation. Our brief was to conceive a mark that was simple, highly recognisable and was able to be reproduced in plain text documents. The solution came in the form of a capital ‘A’ and a simple underline to imply ‘Foundation’. The result is an architecturally sound structure and an exercise in reductive, graphic representation. Marks were also created for A Foundation’s two galleries and studio complex using the same underline device. The identity was developed to include stationery, gallery signage, printed material, fly posters and annual publications.
